Blender for Virtual Worlds

Intro to the Blender Interface for Absolute Beginners – Video

November 17, 2016 by Blenderer

This is the introduction to the Blender interface that I give at the beginning of the Blender Buddies sessions in Opensim. I made a video so I don’t have to keep repeating myself and so that people can go through it in their own time.

When you are new to Blender, the interface can seem overwhelming. Luckily, when we are making objects for virtual worlds, we don’t have to use ALL those menus. Yay!  Once you get comfortable with the interface, Blender can actually be fun!

I hope this is helpful to absolute beginners. If you see mistakes in it, please let me know. If you think it’s useful, maybe give it a thumbs up so people can find it in the youtube search.
